HardWTA 500

A WTA 500 on outdoor hard in Brisbane, an Australian Open lead-in shared with Adelaide and Hobart. The court measures much faster than these players are used to, though the serve does not profit as expected: holds sit at 68%, aces are modest and tiebreaks are uncommon because breaks land first. Flat hitters who take time away still suit it. Pliskova has three titles here, Sabalenka two.
