Wuhan Tennis Open - Wuhan

A WTA 1000 on outdoor hard in Wuhan, between Beijing and Ningbo. The court measures neutral and the returner cuts into the serve: holds sit at 65%, aces are scarce and tiebreaks are uncommon, because the break usually arrives before a set gets that far. Favourites still come through nearly two thirds of the time. Aggressive baseliners thrive. Sabalenka has three titles here, Kvitova two.
