Internationaux de Strasbourg - Strasbourg

🇫🇷 Strasbourg · 2015 · 5/18

ClayWTA 250

A WTA 500 on outdoor clay in Strasbourg, the week before Roland Garros. The clay is slow and free power is scarce: holds sit at 61%, aces barely happen and the breaks come often enough that tiebreaks are close to irrelevant. Two thirds of matches still end in straights. Heavy-topspin grinders are rewarded. Svitolina and Stosur have two titles each, Rybakina one more recently.
