ClayATP 250

An ATP 500 on outdoor clay in Munich, wedged between Monte Carlo and Madrid. The clay plays slower than these players are used to, which mutes first-strike tennis: holds sit at 76% and aces are rare. Sets still stay short, because the breaks arrive early rather than late, and favourites grind through more often than they get ambushed. Zverev has three titles here, Rune two.
