HardWTA 1000

A WTA 1000 on outdoor hard in Dubai, between Doha and Indian Wells at the venue the men share. The DecoTurf measures quick, and almost none of that reaches the serve: holds sit at 68%, aces are scarce and tiebreaks turn up in fewer than one set in ten. Breaks are routine, so returners who absorb pace are the profile. Halep, Bencic and Svitolina each have two titles.
