HardWTA 250

A WTA 250 on outdoor hard in Auckland, in the January block before Melbourne with Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart. The GreenSet court measures in line with these players' norms and the serve gains little from it: holds sit at 64%, aces are rare and tiebreaks appear in about one set in ten. Breaks decide matches, which favours the deep-hitting returner. Gauff and Goerges have two titles each.
