BCI Seguros Chile Open - Santiago

An ATP 250 on outdoor clay in Santiago, between Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. The courts sit at 570 m, where mid altitude lifts the ball just enough to keep the pace ordinary rather than quick. Returners stay in it: holds sit at 73%, aces are scarce and tiebreaks are uncommon, so totals sit moderate and an upset takes grinding. Baez and Jarry have both won here.
